The game will not launch for many of us, apparently due to a conflict with Webroot antivirus software (SecureAnywhere). Others have previously reported this issue, noting that patches to the game had temporarily resolved the problem. When I attempt to launch Star Wars: Squadrons, I see a loading screen that ends in the error message: "Launch error: failed to start the game 🏈"
I bought this game two weeks ago and have not been able to play it yet. I recognize we're coming out of the holiday season, but it would be nice to know the timeline from EA about when a permanent fix will be implemented.
