What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful.
Remapped my controls to have X axis control roll (not yaw) and rudder pedals control yaw (not roll)
Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. Flying at any time.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 02.10.2020
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Can play, have a workaround
What happens when the bug occurs? If you bind the X and Y axis to the same input (aka the stick), their output seems to be cut in half with combined inputs. So going full aft left stick only gives you about half of the pitch up rate and roll left rate as that I get if I go with the standard control inputs and go full pitch aft and full yaw left. It should be the same, not highly reduced maneuvering.
What do you expect to see? As stated in previous question, I expect the maneuverability potential of the ships to be the same regardless of which axis I bind these controls too.
Which ship were you playing? If not applicable, just answer "no" or "none." no
What components were you using? Standard
Which customizations (if any) were you using? Standard
Workaround: I used the program JoystickGremlin to create a virtual device, on this device I changed my joystick from Y and X axis to be the Y-Rotation and X-Rotation axis. I then bound those in the game to yaw and pitch. Then it works fine and I get full maneuverability when giving full diagonal stick input.
