@ty25bhlqt Hey, as mentioned system info should help.
I'm going to guess you're on PC, if this is the case can you try restarting your system with a Clean Boot before playing the game, and see if that helps? Plug out any extra/unused peripherals too.

Thanks.
- 10 years agoSorry David, I tried to post this a few times last night and it just wasn't working. When I put ps4 in my search it kept changing it to ups. So I gave up.
I'm having the problem with ps4. In single player mode it's fine. When I play multiplayer that's where I have the glitch. Like I said, the controllers are fine. When I reassign the sprint action I have the glitch no matter where I assign the sprint.
When I try to run the feet move but my guy just gets real glitchy and goes slower than walking. In addiion to the l2 or r2 acting glitchy as well.
I've tested network activity and everything is good there. I've unplugged and restarted ps4 multiple times. I've tried multiple games within multiplayer. Reassigned buttons. I've unassigned and reassigned all controllers. I've turned off controller touch pad. I've manually reset all controllers.
Nothing has worked.
Thanks again, sorry for the first topic not being complete.- EA_David10 years ago

I see, thanks for the extra details. If you could capture a clip of it happening that might help, but it sounds like rubberbanding, which is when the game and server disagree about your player's position. Is the shooting responsive/accurate?
If you go into the options there should be one option for your matchmaking region, if it's set to somewhere other than your current location, can you try changing it, and see if that helps?Thank you.

Hi @ty25bhlqt
I suspect it's only a problem for PS4, but I don't want to get into speculations flippant(because i don't have PS4).:ealight_bulk: So I asked you.
I found this solution on the dedicated forum to Star Wars: Battlefront.
For some strange reason the ps4 controller setup inSW:B doesn't allow you to toggle run/sprint by simply pressing L3, you have to hold L3-down then move forward which I found awkward on my hand and as well as hard on the controller.
FIX: change/swap your button assignments in PS4 settings(google it). I think the only buttons that make sense for this is circle(crouch) and L3. Once changed, you can simply toggle down once on L3 to crouch and as well only tap circle once to run the 5-yard dash before getting popped by a homing shot😉
