I'm having the problem with ps4. In single player mode it's fine. When I play multiplayer that's where I have the glitch. Like I said, the controllers are fine. When I reassign the sprint action I have the glitch no matter where I assign the sprint.
When I try to run the feet move but my guy just gets real glitchy and goes slower than walking. In addiion to the l2 or r2 acting glitchy as well.
I've tested network activity and everything is good there. I've unplugged and restarted ps4 multiple times. I've tried multiple games within multiplayer. Reassigned buttons. I've unassigned and reassigned all controllers. I've turned off controller touch pad. I've manually reset all controllers.
Nothing has worked.
Thanks again, sorry for the first topic not being complete.
Hi @ty25bhlqt
I suspect it's only a problem for PS4, but I don't want to get into speculations flippant(because i don't have PS4).:ealight_bulk: So I asked you.
I found this solution on the dedicated forum to Star Wars: Battlefront.
For some strange reason the ps4 controller setup inSW:B doesn't allow you to toggle run/sprint by simply pressing L3, you have to hold L3-down then move forward which I found awkward on my hand and as well as hard on the controller.
FIX: change/swap your button assignments in PS4 settings(google it). I think the only buttons that make sense for this is circle(crouch) and L3. Once changed, you can simply toggle down once on L3 to crouch and as well only tap circle once to run the 5-yard dash before getting popped by a homing shot😉
