I don't know, but probably not. I can see I'm connected with both Steam and Epic (along with PSN).
I have BF1, Mass Effect LE and Jedi Fallen Order linked between Steam and EA which all work fine.
I did have the original Origin app installed and that wasn't linked to anything as far as I know.

I haven't had Origins installed for a while now. I just checked and I do not have any remnants of it on my system..
I tried unlinking my EA account with both Steam and Epic. When I launch the Steam version of the game it doesn't ask to link my EA account (still fails) and my Epic version asks to link the account and I redid that but it also failed to launch.

No luck creating a new user. I had already tried that but I upgraded the user to an admin and set all my privacy settings to default. I also logged into windows (I normally run a local account) and made sure OneDrive was working (it's normally working but I don't use it). Nothing has changed to crashdump error message.
