You're a legend, dude! I was able to locate that file and set every thing to 5.0 (they were all set to 1.0 at default). Now if I set my headphone volume to 80 and fire my blasters, it almost makes my eardrums bleed, lol.
This does seem to be just a band aid, until the get it patched. Every time I change something in the game menus, it seems to overwrite the file and reset my changes. Even if I set that profile file to "read only", it still either overwrites it or deletes and replaces it. A bit annoying, but at least I have a way of getting the volume up to a useable level in the meantime.

Those volume settings go from 0 to 1 or as 0% to 100%. I'm surprised setting those settings to 500% is even possible.
You could probably change the games permissions to change the file so the changes stick but that could cause issues with every update the game gets.
