Squadrons, target indicator does not stick to target in VR, moves with head

This is an old bug that seems to keep coming back.  See https://answers.ea.com/t5/Other-STAR-WARS-Games/Target-indicator-does-not-point-to-target/m-p/9537194#M96 which was closed as "solved" in 2020.  I'm using an Odyssey+ for VR and have tried all suggested fixes but the targeting still keeps moving with my head movement and doesn't stick to the targets.
