1) Go to your Library
2) Right click on the game you want to change Launch Values
3) Choose Game Properties
After this you should have a small Window as they showed before. There you can write some values as -novid -noborder -windowed and choose that ORIGIN doesnt startup on the game.
It didn't work for me.
Thats what I've done until now.
I also got black screen.
- reinstalled Origin.
- changed the game start up value with "-novid -noborder -windowed"
- repaired the game
Launch the game... CRASH
- uninstalled origin
- installed origin
- updated origin
- repaired the game
- changed the launch values
Launch the game.... CRASH
I'm still looking for solutions...

Service pack 1? for real?
like did you even hit the update button once? I think i have service pack 1 installed for like what? 3 years now?

Yes, for real. The game is running like a charm right after I've installed it. If you already have it installed for years, as you said, than you have a different problem. Try to update the Intel drivers also. I did it before I've downloaded the SP 1.
P.S. Yes, I had the autoupdate shut off in Windows, that's why I didn't had the SP 1. And I have a reason for this, but this is personal 🙂P.S. The SP 1 file that I've downloaded and installed is called windows6.1-KB976932-X64

After trying everything (from adding lines to the properties, reinstalling Origin, changing audio settings, making sure it runs with my nvidia card, etc.) I was just giving up. Then i found the solution just trying non-sense things. I enter the game folder and run the game from there and it worked!! Then to make sure I changed the settings from inside the game and I put "borderless windowed" or something like that. I hope it helps anybody.
