Same problem here. PC specs are Windows 7 64bit, q6600 quad core, 8GB, GTX 970, DX11, Samsung SSD, monitor set to 2560x1440. All drivers and Service Packs are up to date and I am running as Admin. Reinstalled Origin and same issue. -novid -noborder - windowed did not help and neither did repairing the game. I was going to preorder today but no I am holding off to see how many other problems pop up.
- Anonymous10 years agoA q6600 isn't going to play that game at 5fps... I'd try an I 7 at least lol no matter how much you overclock it, that isn't going to run right.

I just loaded and ran the game for a few minutes with amazing video quality and frame rates were plenty fast with the q6600. Runs just as smooth as any other game I have played including some of the newer ones on the other Big Name game launcher. No doubt the GTX970 is helping with that. I can post frame rates if someone is kind enough to tell me how to get the number. I never had concern enough to need to try to do it.

running a Q6600 here too with an Asus Strix GTX 960 factory overclocked card getting close to 60 FPS in the BETA ..these old Core 2 Quads are workhorses
i play the Witcher 3 and Far Cry 4 on my system with no problems ..and yea i want to upgrade to an I 5 or I 7 soon ..but for now this old Q6600 is still working fine
only problem i had was that Sound setting in Windows 10 Pro ..with my Win 7 64 bit install i didn't have to change it and the game launched perfect
to show your FPS in game hit your tilde key to open the console why your in game
type in
PerfOverlay.Drawfps 1 and hit enter (make sure you get the syntax right )
