Star Wars Battlefront black screen
star wars battlefront has been working fine until today. i started my game and it loaded fine however when i click anything on the screen it enlarges and turns black and i can still hear the music. alt+tab to the desktop and back makes it normal again until i click the screen and it goes black and large again.
i have made no changes to my game or drivers. i am aware of the quad core processor issues but i have an FX 9590 8 core with the sapphire r9 fury gpu. like i said no issues till today even after the update of the game.
what i have tried:
repair game
running in admin mode
enabling dpi settings (default disabled)
turn off gpu scaling mode
running in 1080p in game resolution
running in 4k in game resolution
running in 2k in game resolution
installing amd hotfix 15.301
installing amd hotfix 16
wiping all drivers and reinstalling
STILL NOTHING WORKS
SOB UPDATE: SO I WAS UNAWARE THAT TEAMVIEWER HAD DONE AN AUTOMATIC UPDATE TO VERSION 11 LAST NIGHT WHILE I WAS GONE. I UNINSTALLED 11 AND REINSTALLED 10 AND BAM BACK IN BUSINESS...........
Glad you got it sorted out. I will post in my response the solution so others can see the fix if they have the same issue
Solution: TeamViewer 11 is causing the issue. Uninstall and revert back to TeamViewer 10. Disabling TeamViewer completely while playing could also help in this situation.
