Your mobo has an old bios (06/21/11). I don't know which mobo you have, but is it possible to update it with a new (most recent) one?

i can try, I also only have a quad core so I'm going to try setting up a user config file once the game finished reinstalling (figure it's worth a shot)

So updating my BIOS isn't really an option (I have an old mobo, and the update is unstable so I hear) but I can run other next gen games, it's just Battlefront doing this. Is there anything else I can do?

Have you tried to run the game without your Logitech G430 Gaming Headset? Try also to reinstall nvidia drivers, selecting advanced installation and unchecking two boxes from 3D Vision stuff (check also "clean installation" option).
