Hi @abjoseh Have you tried the following steps?
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for Battlefront (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
Hi @EA_Illium ,
Thanks for helping me out. I've already tried some of the solutions. Others, like cleaning EA's cache, were new to me. Anyway, I've just tried all your steps and none worked.
There's a detail I didn't mentioned. The game warns me before starting about my graphics driver's version, but it is nonsense as I have the latest driver, and it appears as so in the message dialog it opens. It's just like the game is only checking the last digits of the driver version, and not also the ones before. Anyway, my graphics appear to be working fine as the game laucnhes quickly and it runs smoothly on start screen.
Also, I'm running Windows 11, latest version.
I've notice the file:
C:\Users\"USER"\OneDrive\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront\settings\ProfileOptions_profile
I opened it with a text editor and saw some options, and there's a "GstInput.EnableController" that's set to 1. During my tests, I set it to 0 and the only I got was that the game didn't worked with controller. Is there any other option I could edit to make the game recognize keyboard input?
It is frustrating, and it's a problem I've never experienced with any other game. I'd really love to play this game and I have no problem with getting technical, as I'm a programmer and work with similar stuff every day. But my options with this are limited and I'd want at least an explanation of why is this happening.

HI @abjoseh Thanks for trying those steps, would it be possible to get a screenshot of the driver message?
Also when you have a moment can you try these additional steps?
- Disable all overlays (Discord, EA App, Geforce Experience, etc)
- You can disable EA Apps overlay via Settings > Application > In-game Overlay

Hi @EA_Illium,
thanks for taking the time to assist me. I've tried with overlays, without results. This is the message for the drivers:
- Disable all overlays (Discord, EA App, Geforce Experience, etc)
