Star Wars Battlefront not launching & Menu text is missing?

The issues:     1 . Star Wars Battlefront does not start when launched     2.  When the game does finally decide that it wants to launch, sometime 10 minutes later,  there is no text.   All text is...

    Okay!

    I have the game working, with text !

    I set up a call back with EA and they asked me to lower the screen resolution in windows before launching the game.

    (My native screen resolution was set to 1920x1080.)

    So I just randomly picked something like 1600x900 or 1366x768 and the game launches right away, with full text in game menus. 

    Once in the game, I was able to raise the resolution in the video settings of Battlefront back to 1920x1080.

    Though it seems to crash my computer if I keep it at 1920x1080 for too long.

Okay, the option for SLI does not appear under NVIDIA control panel 3D Settings.

    Doesn't work for me! bonjour, j'ai craqué sur un battlefront et je viens de le lancer ce matin ... et là bonheur petit bonheur made in EA je n'ai pas de texte dans les écrans et menus, juste des cases grises quelqu'un à un truc pour faire apparaitre le texte?
    Core i5 3570/ amd r290 dernier drivers.
