star wars battlefront problem with moving on to new maps

Hi there,

At the end of round of certain maps in walker assault my screen is stuck on the round summary screen. The loading ring continues but the screen does not change to the pre game setup. I try leaving but when I press the button to leave the button freezes while saying "leaving..." I assume its because I'm not on season pass so I do not own the dlc content so when the map rotation moves on it cannot load my game. The only way to escape this is exit the whole game and re-sign into origin, but the problem is too frequent to be a viable option. Please could you look into the problem and change it so I can leave the round without exiting the game. I play on the pc version of the game.

@m28zaron Thanks for the post. Can you try a repair and see if that helps?

Right-click the game panel and you should get the repair option. Let this complete and try again, thanks.

  • I am having a few issues that need resolved.  First, ever since the update for Bespin came out (Xbox) it takes forever for me to join matches so in Walker Assault which I play mostly when 1 round ends and the next begins, the match is already started when I join in.  I used to see the countdown going in the top right of the screen for the match start and would have time to make adjustments to my star cards, blasters, appearance etc.  Then I would join in and would see the circular icon with the start timer on it in the map and it was a mad rush for everyone to get to the power up at the start of the match.  Now since that 10 GB update came out after a match ends and it shows the screen with the accomplishments like kills, vehicles destroyed, cards used, etc, it stays there for a while then gives me the screen where I can choose my cards, weapons, appearance but by that time the match has already started and usually around maybe 1/5 - 1/6 of the way to the first checkpoint.  This is hapening on all modes that I have played, not just walker assault.  Started with the Bespin update before I purchased the Outter Rim and Bespin expansions and has continued and was not resolved with the update yesterday.

On top of that, I have been having issues where the system keeps switching my blaster back to the T-21B every time I initially start playing even after using a different blaster when I played last.  I had a similar issue with Battlefield Hardline and my loadouts not staying how I had set them.

  • Platform: PC

Issue: I have no problem loading into or between rounds in Walker Assault, but every time the next map is going to load, it never does and I am stuck on the end-game stats screen with the icon spinning forever. Tried waiting 20+ minutes. This issue started for me when Outer Rim released, though I only had the problem on WA Beta Outpost and WA Jundland Wastes then. After Bespin release NONE of the maps in WA load between games. I can't even load past the WA map in the Bespin DLC. I have to ctrl-alt-delete "End Task" Battlefront and go back in every time. I have already tried the "repair" and "check for updates" options in Origin, they did not help.

Can you reproduce this issue 100% of the time: Yes

Details on how to reproduce the issue: Finish last round of any Walker Assault map.

Processor (CPU): AMD Athlon X4 860k
Graphics Card (GPU): Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 ti
    Memory: 8GB
    Operating System: Windows 10

I am not the only person with this issue.  I could understand if this only happens once in a while, and I have to force quit Battlefront, but I have to do it EVERY TIME and it makes Walker Assault unplayable.  Please give ANY kind of feedback, maybe the problems that could cause this issue or some kind of work-around.

I fixed my problem.  Seems that my graphics card only had 1GB VRAM.  This is not enough to load most Walker Assault Matches, you need at least 2GB VRAM on your graphics card.
