Star wars battlefront season pass only multiplayer?

Dear team,

I just purchased the season pass with the 4 DLC to play in Star Wars Battlefield of my Xbox one.

First of all, I was a bit disappointed that you can only play those really motivating environments in multiplayer mode.

On the other hand, it has been quite frustrating to have paid for this expansion and not to be able to experience any of the modes due to the absence of players in those campaigns.

Is there any way I can play those 4 environments locally? If we can, they could kindly consider it?

I have been a loyal follower of EA for over 20 years and I really hope they can continue to develop fantastic products, but please do not neglect the single player mode, it has always been a well-attended feature of your company.

    I appreciate you being a loyal fan of EA and the Star Wars Franchise - Star Wars Battlefront indeed focuses on multiplayer maps, the DLCs in particular. To quickly jump into the game, I'd recommend to broaden your filters / rotations in-game.

    If you're in for a story mode, you might as well be interested in Battlefront II which is due to release in November - make sure to check out this thread. It features the trailer, answers some questions and comes with tauntauns and the Inferno Squad.

    Hey @pjvs_1981,

    no problem at all.

    I was referring to the menu where you have the DLC playlists. You can select a specific game mode or just any random game mode for that DLC.

    Or even broaden your search by selection modes for 40 players or 12 players, regardless of mode and map and just go with the rotation.

    It might take a while longer if you choose to play one particular game mode on your favorite map.

    Yes exactly @EA_Joker, I played many times in Multiplayer by selecting more general modes but all maps I've just played are on the basic SW game and couldn't enjoy any of new environments yet.

    Anyway, please take my suggestion to add those maps for local multiplayer or solo to enjoy locally as well. 

    About SW BTFR II no doubt I will definitely go for it on november and I think 99% of customers will do. But EA could enhance the DLC experiences (allowing those maps for offline games)and I'm sure the entire community will go for future DLC and addons improving a lot the satisfaction about this product. Just a kindly recommendation.

    Hey @pjvs_1981,

    thanks for the feedback on this one. I actually heard this frequently that there should be more options to play on your own, against bots only with no need for a second player, and if it's only for training purpose on the DLC maps. I'll pass that on - due to the fact that the new game in the franchise will release in six months time I wouldn't necessarily think that the first part will be significantly changed at this stage, but this kind of feedback always helps to improve the game in general.

    @EA_Joker So do I understand correctly that the 6 add-on packs included in Battlefront 1 Ultimate Edition can only be played in online, multiplayer mode? And to play any of them I have to have a PS plus account subscription?
