FYI, I've played games on PCs since there first were any of those, and just as soon as any hardware platform had more than one video option available, there has always been someone outside of the established standard the developers aimed for who would ignore the labels on games' packaging. Those people constantly appear on forums complaining that they did check their hardware against the requirements when they never did any such thing.
Answer HQ isn't for the difficult, complex problems. It's a player to player interchange, without the references and tools available to official techs at Help Center. On that basis, given the frequency of success we have by making a hardware filter step early on, we will continue thrashing that one problem area thoroughly.
The thread you joined had a recent comment from someone not even aware that video quality varied and was important, or that if there are six different quality levels, some pass, some fail.
