Star Wars Fallen Jedi Wont Launch!

What happens when the bug occurs? just the start up game picture comes up then nothing.
What do you expect to see? the game to start.

I bought Jedi Fallen order on steam and anytime I try to launch the game either on steam or on Origin, nothing happens jus the start up picture comes on but nothing else happens it just stays on the game never launches. 

I verified the game files,

I uninstalled and reinstalled Origin.

tried launching from Origin and Steam.

Any help would be much appreciated.
