Star Wars Fallen Order SE - Dathomir - Keep falling through environment

PC, Windows 10, Standard Edition, game version 1.0.10.0:

I am currently stuck on the Dathomir level. I progressed through the story to a point that everything I do, I just fall through the floor. I got to the point where I climb a bridge, jump across a chasm, pull the bridge down, then run back and slide down a slide. The slide seems to have no wall detection. No matter what I do, I fall through the floor at the end, even if I make the jump across to the save point. Currently I am stuck down in the swamp. Any move I make I fall through the floor. I have completed the Bogano, Zeffo and Kashyyk levels already. I am not proceeding through Dathomir early. I have almost every Jedi power in the skill tree, as well as all force abilities to this point in the story (such as jedi flip).

I tried repairing the game through the EA App. That did not make any difference. Is there anything I can do to progress further without losing my game progress? Will I just have to wait on another game update?

    It looks like this is triggered if, after meeting the night sister for the first time on Dathomir, you turn left to head down into the nightbrother village. You are supposed to instead use the ropes to swing across the gap. This path eventually takes you to the wandering stranger, the night sister ruin, then drops you down into the path to find the climbing claws. When you proceed through the story in this manner, the aforementioned slide works correctly.

    I would still consider this a bug since you are not prevented from taking this path first by accident.
