This is Cal's story, so he's going to be consistent with the narrative.
While there's a lot of choice in what you do and how you do things, they won't change who Cal becomes during the game.

Dude I totally agree!! I think most of us would go Darkside just for the kicks and giggles, but it would add more depth to the game 🙂 PreOrdered already ps4 :P
Maybe they might have a non-cannon alternate dark-side ending like with The Force Unleashed
