How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Update: What I thought was a bug is no longer an issue. It grows based on the amount time spent away from the ship.
What happens when the bug occurs? Solution was found.
What do you expect to see? A fully grown Terrarium.

Update: I went all the way to the top of the Origin Tree on Kashyyyk. I rubberbanded my controller's both analog sticks and left Cal running in a circle for 30 minutes.

30 minutes had passed, so I returned to my ship and traveled to Bogano, because nothing had changed. I killed the enemies near the Vault, rested, respawned them and returned to my ship.

I repeated this a few times and it worked. I finally got the Green Thumb trophy.

This can be frustrating, if you have nothing else left to do. I almost gave up.

I think, that it grows based on how much time you spend away from the ship. Gaining XP and resting could be another factor.
