Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on PS5 force push does nothing

So I have the PS5 version of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order installed on my machine. I got to the point where you unlock the force push. Issue is that it doesn't work. An object that is blue you should be able to push it., yet I press R1 and the thing just sets there. I reboot, closed the game. When I try it again same issue. I've tried it off my m.2 drive and off the internal hare drive. Anyone else having this issue? I thought I would try this below par game again, and it doesn't even work. This is on new game plus which is a joke all on it's own. New game plus where you loose everything, but you get to keep everything cosmetic. Haha defeats the point of new game plus.
