Star wars jedi fallen order

star wars jedi: I too am having Problems with the game downloading, It start to download and, downloads for about 47% and then comes up with and error message " Dx file or something to that effect not found", I did all the things you would do, exit  Origins Restart Origins, reboot my computer etc. When I log back onto Origins It then tries to repair the Jedi files, but after 3 hrs of nothing happening  I canceled the download, Will try to download again tonight. Not the fastest sp so I takes about 6 to 7 hrs. I know that Origin's downloader is working for I just finish paly Mass effects : Andromeda again which I downloaded about 45 days ago with no problem. This is the first time I have had problems with Origins downloader a game. We spend a lot of money for this game and have high hopes, I hope this get fixed soon, and I hope that I can find a number to customer service.

  • If you are seeing the error A redistributable package (DirectX) was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (4294967287) can you go ahead and open

installation path of the game "F:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Star Wars and from here navigate to __Installer\directx\redist where you need to Delete all .rar files but leaveDSETUP.dll, dsetu32.dll and DXSETUP.exe.

Let me know how you get on.

  • So i tried that and then got Error 327683:0 so I disabled my firewall and uninstalled reinstalled and it got to 47% and just said download failed with no error code or anything. I did a clean boot and everything, why doesn't this work? @EA_Darko

Hey @FlashStash05, something on your system is blocking Origin, can you ensure that you are running Origin as administrator and that your firewall and anti-virus are not blocking Origin and that you also have the ports for Origin open.

    The ports to open are:

    • TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
    • UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

You can also try turning off the routers firewall to see if it helps.

  • yeah i double checked my firewall was off and i dont have any antivirus software @EA_Darko , i opened the ports and made sure it was ran as admin, and still it says download failed when doing a fresh install, it just stops at 47% after saying preparing to play. the past 2 times i havent even gotten an error screen. ive no clue whats going on but ive never had this problem with any other launcher. included images to see if that helps, it just downloads until 47% then does that and pops up that download failed notification and nothing else.

Hey @FlashStash98 everything points to a network or system issue, can you try a different connection to see if you see the same issue?

The next thing I can recommend is to go through this list of steps one by one and try them all to see if it helps:

Let me know how you get on.
