Hi guys, I only watch the movies so I cannot claim to know everything about Star Wars lore.Some questions:1. Did the New Republic totally use only Rebel Starfighters? Does this mean X-wings, A-Wings and Y-wings are the standard for the New Republic Fleets? Why not use Imperial Technology like TIE Fighters to mix into their fleets if they got captured?2. What does the New Republic army have as combat Armour for their Infantry men? Did the New Republic appropriate Imperium Stormtrooper Armour into their army after the Empire lost in Return Of The Jedi?3. Did the New Republic capture any Imperial Star Destroyers? Why not use them for the New Republic Fleet as well?Just some food for thought, appreciate any knowledge shared.

How about the Lore for Starfighters, are the ones we see in the movies all that the New Republic have?

The New Republic ships were better in terms of life support and shields - they were more humane to use, so thus they were used; unlike the empire who didn't care much for their pilots2. Did the New Republic appropriate Imperium Stormtrooper Armour into their army after the Empire lost in Return Of The Jedi?No. They scrapped it for Starhawk and already had their own good armour. Most of their military was scraped soon after Endor and Jakku anyway.3. Did the New Republic capture any Imperial Star Destroyers? @Reposter There are also some legends starfighters, there's this really heavy bomber that they used but it was still a fighter.

@HCarbonic I do not recall strongly about Project Starhawk being mentioned in the movies, when does Project Starhawk take place, after Return of the Jedi but before the Force Awakens?

@Reposter I use it, but not as much of Wookieepedia. Wookieepedia is WAY more in depth - search up a ship you get specifics of speed, size, crew, weapons, etc. and sometimes a price. There's a page for almost everything.

@SuperSpyUU I never got around to reading Empire's End, I might have to re-read the other books before jumping back in.

I know Starhawk from a bunch of different stuff - talks with friends, a reference or two in the BF2 campaign, and the titles of youtube videos that come up in my recommended.
