Yes and I also read that post about Webroot being the problem. I was just hoping for another fix other than uninstalling my anti-virus software
Hey, I’ve been having these problems with Squadrons for a while now ever since the last update, there’s a big glitch between Webroot and squadrons, don’t know what but they clash hard.
I just uninstalled Webroot completely and now the game works... it’s a problem for both EA and Webroot to sort out.
There was an update in November that clashed and then another fix came out from the posts in the forums. Since then another update was released and low and behold the game stopped working. It’s the only game that uses EAC that crashes with Webroot from my experience, I use many others that use EAC and they all work.
Webroot and EA, please sort the mess out. We all pay more than what squadrons was priced at to protect our systems.
I am having the same problem, except I am able to launch Squadrons with no hassle, everything works perfectly as they should, only when I click continue story I go into mission 9: Trouble at Mal Cala: Then I enter the hanger, do the briefing and prepare for launch, when I click Prepare for launch it gets stuck on a blank loading screen. Just to Clarify, I bought and play Star Wars Squadrons on Epic Games.
How can I fix this? Please help.
