Star Wars Squadrons preload date keeps changing
On two seperate occasions, star wars squadrons has changed the preload date in two weeks. Why even post them if they know they are not going to be valid?

I'm partially asking the same question BUT, although it's only 40gb and would take myself around 5mins to download; I have a friend who has the slowest connection and takes him hours to download a game, so I do feel the pain a little.
An example, it took him almost 3 days to download Warzone haha; I would cry at those speeds. That's nice that there is nothing to worry about, Tom. The annoying thing was every time the date changed I wasted an hour trying to fix my internet, reboot my computer, re-install the Origin app, and posting Origin Error reports that were ignored. Then I'd get yet another EA email saying pre-load was available for me and I'd waste time trying again.
Sigh... well I'm sure Squadrons will be worth it! 😃

- @Kevlegs Surprisingly he seems to be ok, I think he is pushing bare minimum for multiplayer gaming but seems to be stable for the most part.

Your friend is not the only one with a connection like that.
In my case, my connection is often either 10Kb/s or even just no connection at all. Yes, it takes a while to load Google. So I tend to play games that can work with only a 10Kb/s type of connection.
