i recently added an 8gb ram stick in my laptop which gives me a total of 16gb ram. should i upgrade it more or will it be enough?

8gb memory should be the standard nowadays and is plenty for most games, so 16gb is more than enough for what you need.
GPU and CPU are the key components that improve the performance more than anything else.
