Star wars:Battlefront is using an old email. How do i change it?

Just got the new start wars battlefront. I went online and made an ea account from my computer. When I tried to log in inside the game, it was preset to a very old email I had and no longer have access to. How do I change this preset? I can't log in until I change that

    To change the e-mail address, follow these steps:

    1. Go to http://www.origin.com and Sign in on the top of the page
    2. Scroll over "My Account" and Click "Privacy Settings"
    3. Then click the "About Me" Tab on the left
    4. Click "Edit" next to "Basic Information"
    5. Enter the security code that has been sent to either your e-mail or your phone (whichever option you have set up)
    6. You can now change your e-mail

    This allows you to change your e-mail, username and date of birth

    No, my ea/orgin account is correct. It's in the game. This email is an old one and I have no idea why it's preset or how to change it. This is preventing me from logging in (inside the game)

    I'm having the exact same issue on my xbox one, it's preset to an email from years ago and I can't access that email, how do I change the email? step it up EA and fix this problem please so I can play online!
