    Ok, so upgraded to windows 10, re-installing the game, re-installed origin and it seems to be working. I was able to launch the game at "playable" during the download with no errors. So I'm assuming the game will run fine. In conclusion it would suggest that the game has some windows 7/nvidia drivers compatability issues.

@501st-Hipkiss Being unable to install the latest drivers sounds like the core issue here. Perhaps you could try 358.50, I think this is the earliest that SWBF will work with. 


However driver 359.00 was released recently, perhaps you want to try this instead as perhaps the conflict has been resolved with this update?

Updated to 359.00, even did a clean install. Issue still not resolved.
I can aslo confirm im running Direct X 11.

Worth upgrading to windows 10?

    @501st-Hipkiss Windows 7 should suffice as long as it's up to date and has Service Pack 1. 

    If you want to update your OS anyway now might be the time for it, but be sure to reinstall Origin afterwards.

        Thanks for the update, good that you got things running. I wonder what went wrong exactly, since your setup is quite similar to my own and I've had no issues. 

        in any case, the main point is that you're in the game now. Enjoy 🙂
