Starwars: Squadron cant connect to server

Just downloaded squadron through Steam but when connecting, screen goes black and can only press the "close" button on right upper corner. After that EA prompt me with  "you must have an EA account to access online features"  screen error code 4,975.

Even when i try to connect on the main screen it gives me the same error and direct me to EA.com/Unable-to-connect pages. Checked all server status are green.

I have an EA account, what else do I need to do?

According to EA I do need to pay subscription to play this game online -https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/EA-Play/td-p/10675496

I found out what was wrong. It seems like I needed to link my Steam account to my EA account.

Here is the steps for doing it:

You only need to link your accounts the first time you play an EA game on Steam.

    1. Sign in to Steam.
    2. Click Play to launch an EA game from Steam.
    3. Install Origin if you haven’t already.
    4. Origin will launch and ask you to link your Steam account and your EA Account. (Press the steam icon on the bar with all the icons to make it to link)
    5. Log in to Origin using your EA Account info or create a new EA Account.
    6. Steam will install your game and let you know when it’s ready to play.

    Merry Christmas
