Works a treat without the SteamVR stutter.
I spent so much time just in menus getting a HOTAS set up right (the deadzone issue and all), that i'm past the window of being able to ask for a refund.
Feels like getting stuck with a lemon.

Same with me. I spent a lot of time trying to get it to look nice in VR and setting up my HOTAS. When I booted up the game the next day, my HOTAS controls had all reverted back to default.
I feel like I paid $40 to help them test the game and submit bug reports.

SteamVRand origins are pretty much the same.
Steam VR usually does a bit of auto supersampling where as the native oculus versions won’t. That’s why you will see a difference.
i tested this with Dirt 2.0, and someone in the steam forums checked both copies and confirmed it.
you have to check your pixel density is identified in both
- 5 years ago@Jackrabbit710 I'm afraid there's more to it than just SteamVR AutoSS (I always disabled it and check the pixel density and ASW status anytime I start a VR Game). As I stated above, in my experience there is a significant difference between OpenComposite and SteamVR in IL2 Great Battles.
