Story Mode is overly "difficult" for a "Story Mode"
Having played other EA games with story mode (Mass Effect 3 for example) I can safely say this is way too hard for a narrative difficulty. The fact that all enemies regen their stamina constantly means you bash some troopers 40 times before they die. What about that is narrative? Like sure I'm not taking massive damage, but why is everything taking so long?
From what it appears, enemies get the same HP and Stamina on every difficulty, meaning they take just as long to kill on every difficulty. This shouldn't be the case for story mode. It's not difficult in the sense that I'm getting pulverized by enemies - it's difficult in the sense that everything is still spongy and requires you to do crap like parry to get their stamina off, which should be a non-concern in a STORY MODE.
I'm not here for the combat. I'm here for the STORY because its STORY MODE. Enemies should be dying in 2-3 swings. That's how a STORY MODE is supposed to work... it's supposed to effectively remove the need for combat skill... this doesn't.
Let me capitalize that one more time STORY MODE - for STORY.
Please nerf the stamina bar on Story Mode. It's not the enemy health causing my frustrations, it's the fact that if you pause for even a millisecond they recover all their stamina and you have to hit them a further 10 times to get it off again, and this can keep happening indefinitely. Force Regen should also fully restore the bar in Story Mode. Constantly having no Force energy... yay... what fun to make combat take even longer in a mode dedicated to narrative.
- @jmordreddev Having played other games with a story mode I tend to agree. I chose to try it on Story Mode and I feel like I’m playing the Normal difficulty. I spend way too long fighting and not enjoying the story itself.
