Confirming 'Stuck at Press Enter', on the following rig:
Win 10, 64 bit, 100% clean install
Asus S56CM with Intel 4000 + Nvidia 635M, i.e., fairly modern laptop with dual graphics
On top of this I have
Intel 4000 driver 10.18.10.4276, directly from Intel, manual install, version confirmed in Regedit
Latest Nvidia install, directly from Nvidia
Stock Trend Micro anti-virus
Game version: open beta, as of 13.10, 15:26 european timezone,
Installed BF as user level, but had administrator rights user installing.
I attempt executing the game as administrator
I am starting the game as 'run as nvidia'.
I still get that ackward Intel version error, despite having the latest possible driver from Intel. This I believe is a programming bug, since it does not check all digits in the build.
I come to the screen Press Enter... Little fighters are flying around, and keyboard is obviously working.
I can alt-tab in and out, but the game never starts.
It does not respond to alt-enter
I have tried starting the game with -noboarder etc
I am unwilling to disable uefi boot
That is: On this rig, the bug is persistant, recurrent, and confirmed. Please correct in beta2, so we dare to purchase the game for this rig.

Additional info:
I am not on battery, and power settings is to full performance.
I am attempting start of game after cold boot, having waited considerable time to allow background processes to finish
In Nvidia, (here we may have a clue) there are some interesting items: 1) Thee automagic game search does not detect the game automagically when searching for it. I have added the correct path, rescanned, and no luck. 2. I have in manual nvidia graphics settings attempted to turn off all cool graphic effects.
I have tried starting from Origin, and directly from the .exe file.
That is, in this way, we should have removed certain items.
The only item I have not tried, is a BIOS update to v 209 from the ASUS website. However, their flash tool for the S56CM does not work on Win10... (shame shame, ASUS - this laptop is new enough to run Win10, and the BIOS update turns up wne looking for items for Win10...).

.. and, I have even tried with a game controller: Physical connection before the game is started, and after the game has started: This does not work either.
Wishing you the best in hunting down these bugs - Or, if the 635M will never be fast enough for the game, I do not mind knowing that.

Warbat: Any Geforce less powerful than an "n50" should not be at all satisfactory. The n30s / n35s / and n40s are all intended for such activities as streaming video viewing and watching movies on DVDs, not for games.
The "dead" start screen can often be overcome by switching to a windowed view and / or running the Windows Task Manager. Unfortunately, you waited until the last minutes of the Beta Test period to reach someone able to answer you.
