Stuck on Bracca: Imperial Cargo Transport

Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Game is stuck in an intro scenario (cargo transport) telling me how to block incoming attacks and never progresses to the next instruction to slow enemies by using force powers.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a New Journey+ mission, get to the cargo transport where troopers are dropping down and there's a spinning disc in front of you. The game instructs you to use the right-mouse button to block enemy attacks. It never progresses to the next step and I'm stuck in the train. I killed 30 troopers (block, then attack) and gave up as I've played previously and it eventually instructs you use force powers to slow an enemy, which allows you to slow the spinning disc and climb up to the transport's roof and progress. This worked fine before the Jouney+ missions were added (last played through this scenario successfully on 13-Apr-2020).
What happens when the bug occurs? Enemies keep dropping from the train roof and never stop. The instruction to use the right-mouse button to block most enemy attacks never changes to a new instruction, despite using the right-mouse button to successfully block enemy attacks 30+ times.
What do you expect to see? After 3-5 successful blocks the instruction should change to a note that parry will slow/daze an enemy and next it should provide a new instruction to slow an enemy using the force (keyboard "1").

Given that this was working for me as recently as mid-Apr 2020, I'm guessing this bug was introduced when Journey+ features were added.

  • So I tried again just now and if I HOLD the right mouse-button and never let it go, it progresses to the next instruction.  It didn't used to work like this and will be counter-intuitive to players that are used to parry having quick timing associated with it.  Recommend that whatever trigger was changed to progress through the tutorial instructions is reverted to pre-April 2020 logic.
