Stuttering during play

I'm getting periods of stuttering when looking side to side with the mouse during games on both online and offline play. I can't identify a pattern to it and it only started today after the latest update.

It only affects play as a soldier not the vehicles.

Any ideas?

One thing I noticed playing today is that the game stutters as soon as I move the mouse while playing any hero, without the framerate actually dropping, still 60 fps.

But your issue seems to be a bit different, since you said the stuttering would only happen for some periods, not the whole time...

Do you get "real" fps-drops or only stuttering?

If you didn't know already: You can show the framerate ingame by pressing ^ and then typing "perfoverlay.drawfps 1" 🙂

70-90 fps, It appears after 2-3 minutes of play muliplayer. Graphic settings dont have matter.

To be honest, I don't think I'm able to help you here, sorry ☹️

You could try this, but I don't really think, that it's gonna help:

- install newest driver
- repair game via origin
- delete config file in the game folder (deletes all settings!)

Maybe someone else will be able to help you :/

Just in case, please give some information about your hardware, it might be helpful.

Tried all of the above except deleting settings... will try

Intel i7 960 - stock 3.2GHz

16GB DDr3 ram

SSD

GTX 970

One thing I've noticed is that it's better with a gamepad..... bizarre

No framerate drops at all... just stuttering. I get constant 60fps (Use a TV)

Agreed.... At first it is perfect... then it just starts.... Sometimes it comes and goes, other times it's more permanent.

It isn't only happening while there's a hero somewhere on the battlefield, is it?

Because that's when my game starts to.

How are your frametimes while stuttering? You can (as far as I remember) show them by pressing ^ and then typing "perfoverlay.drawgraph 1".
Maybe something isn't right with the game causing unstable frametimes, which results in stuttering at an usually smooth framerate.

Framerate is unaffected. Interesting point regardung hero units. I will test this out though I don't think it is the case.
