SW Battlefront (2015) vote kick request

I've been advised to come here and post this after trying to get something done about the horrendous cheating/hacking in the game on Facebook. Rather than have to type everything again I am going to copy and paste from the FB EA Help page. My previous comments were removed from the page, not because I broke any rules, but I guess EA doesn't like the negative publicity. Anyway here's what still up:

'So, I've just joined a WA game in SWBF, and guess what? Another hacker!, The first game I joined!!!! DO SOMETHING

EA Help Hey there Andrew! I appreciate that you're taking the time to let us know. It's astronomically important that you're reporting these players the normal way as you come across them though because we really can't do much here from Facebook. This article here talks about the various ways to report players the right way in our various games (http://bit.ly/ReportingCheating). If you're on the console version then you'd want to refer to the area under "MY GAME ISN'T LISTED OR THIS HAPPENED SOMEWHERE ELSE." I hope this helps to know! -Chase

Is that all you can come back with? Report them? It doesn't work!. If you blacklist a cheater and then later do the same to another, you'll see that he is already blacklisted. They just change their names! You need to update the anti-cheat software to block the current cheats. Go now and join the game, WA, and you'll see just how bad it is.

I can't really test it out right now since we're super busy, but I do believe you. Yes, that's all I've got to come back with. It might seem silly, but if you report each cheater you come across, then those reports gets sent to the team of people who actually do have the ability to get changes made to our security and anti-cheating software. I've been online gaming religiously for almost 20 years now, so believe me, I know darn-well how useless the report button can feel sometimes, especially if you run across a cheater that you've already reported in the past. Despite this, reporting -does- help, and it's imperative that our players report cheaters if they want to see change be implemented. -Chase

But, it isn't quick enough. This current guy is getting reported, but by the time you do anything, there will be another three. There's one in every game. Rather than reporting individuals stop them before they can start! Other companies do this why can't you? I've been reporting them for years and nothing changes ☹️

In most of our games there is essentially a constant war going on between our game teams and cheaters as cheaters work to develop new and functioning cheats while we work to constantly combat them in different ways. In order to stop them before they start, we need the best understanding possible of how they function. To gain that understanding, we need as many reports as possible to investigate. I know it's frustrating, but this is the way that it is.

If you feel strongly that this is something we should be putting more resources towards than we currently are, then if you wouldn't mind taking the time, it would be beneficial to share this as feedback on the game's official forum on http://answers.ea.com. These forums are not only monitored by our game/community teams, but posting here also makes it easy for others to chime in with their opinions as well. Here's a direct link if you're interested: http://bit.ly/AHQSWBFII -Chase

So, today I got about 25 minutes of decent gameplay before another hacker joined and ruined the game, and once again I have to leave not him/her!

This wasn't someone from earlier in the week, this was yet another. Can't you guys see why reporting individuals does not work? I'll post on your forum too, but I don't think for a second you will actually do anything to help.

I understand your battle with the hackers, but most of your games, that I have, are relatively cheat free. I still play Battlefield 4 and it doesn't have this problem despite being an old game.

It's unfair on people, when you sell them a game that isn't fit for purpose. This could be resolved with a simple vote kick system, all I'm asking is for you to spend some time to develop this.

  • I really don't know what else to say. The game is literally unplayable and there's not a thing we can do about it. ☹️

EA you are an utter disgrace, no better than these scum that do this. And who was that fool who gave an interview not so long ago saying that he didn't know why everyone thought you were the bad guys? Just join one of your games and you'll see why.

  • Joined a Turning Point game, and one guys is mowing everyone down with DlT-19, aim-bot and damage hack. You can't even move from your spawn point. Says he wants everyone to move to BF2.

  • Right, seen as how EA can't be bothered to even acknowledge the issue I'm going to start naming and shaming the hackers for them. So here is the worst of todays hackers. Currently in Turning Point if you want to see EA?
