What type of HDD/SSD is everyone using? I swapped from an 860 Evo SDD to a 960 Evo SDD and the stutter seems almost gone and certainly better than before. The issue seems to be with loading areas/textures etc. I wonder if it's simply the Unreal Engine which is widely known to have texture issues. Look at Borderlands 3 which also uses Unreal. The textures in that can be extremely slow in loading.
However in this case it seems to be more than just textures but general data retrieval from HDD's.
mine crashed twice on the 2nd planet.
I have this problem, I try to go to Dathomir and game hard crashes during the landing cutscene.
Im using a SSD samsung 860 1TB EVO serie but i really doubt that the issue is from there because otherwise people with HDD would have serious performance issues :/
