Target indicator does not point to target

I’ve got the same issue, though it seems to be around 180 degrees off. Made finding targets near impossible! 
I have a Windows MR device.

Wondering if anyone else is having this same problem. I start the first mission and both the speech bubbles and the targeting boxes for the ships I'm supposed to be following, shooting, etc are all way off center. Adjusting the VR view with the "-" button does not fix anything.

I can lean way to the left and it seems to line up, but when I re-center my view after doing that it shifts over again and I'd have to lean very far to see it right.

Using a Valve Index

Steam version of game

R9 3900x
GTX 2080 Super

No other framerate or performance issues that are super obvious to me, and no other VR issues that I haven't been able to solve.

I have tried launching the game directly from the normal Steam view and from Steam VR - same problem both times.

Have not experienced VR issues like this in any other game.

Tagging these words too: Targeting Target Reticule Reticules Off Center

Yesterday I played in VR and the targeting worked fine. Today, the VR targeting is completely off. It is unplayable in this state.

I'm also getting this bug via WMR on my Lenovo Explorer. It makes the game very difficult to play.

So far mostly WMR users, but one Valve Index user saying he has the same issue, unsure if it's related to steamVR supersampling settings or anything of the sort

Other having to work around the controller limitations (I have way more than 4 directinput devices) and the huge deadzones on my stick and pedals despite being set to 0%  this is my only gripe at the moment. 

I've provided some screenshots showing my target being dead center on my radar but the heads up reticle being off to the left not following my target.

*edit* Seems it's not just WMR users, more than one Valve Index user reporting the same issue in the steam discussions thread linked above.

What happens when the bug occurs? There is no target reticle when flying in VR. You select a target and you do NOT get the white box around the target. You see the arrows pointing where to go but they in no way point where they should. The small red dots that indicate where targets are coming from are also in no way in the right place.
What do you expect to see? The target reticles locking into and showing you where the target it.

Why flying in VR and locking a target of any type you do NOT get the white box locking them so no way to know where they are. Also the red dots showing incoming enemies are in the wrong place and again no where near the targets. Virtually all HUD elements in VR are not where they should be.

Same things here - re-ran Steam VR Room Setup, tried facing the headset toward myself and away. Have seen everyone save for Oculus users report this on the Steam forums (not saying Oculus headsets are working perfectly necessarily, just haven't seen a report there).

So it's clearly not just Windows MR if an Index is having the issue as well. Really sucks as while it's good in 2D once you've played in VR you just can't go back.

Yeah having the same issue, game is great otherwise but makes it difficult to play when you're not sure who you're targeting

I just turned the HUD completely off in settings and am targeting using the scanner only - it's a LOT harder and really annoying but it does at least work. I just hope this is fixed soon as I've tried everything I can think of.

- Reinstall Steam VR

- Reinstall Windows MR

- Run setup for both

- Tried setting up my headset facing both directions during Steam VR

- Sat facing backwards in my chair, reset the view (nada)

So at this point it's got to be a bug somewhere given the number of players I've seen with it. That's what I get for playing a day 1 version.
