Hi Squadron Team,
if you send out the telemetry data via UDP (yaw, pitch roll accelerations, speed, general acceleration, shooting and hit triggers etc.) , I send you two Yaw VR 3DoF motion simulators for free. Even with Squadrons branding.
Many thanks, Zsolt

Yes, this would be amazing to add the extra depth to an already highly immersive experience.
- 6 years ago@szigetlaki Hi Zsolt from YAW. I hope your attractive offer to EA will work. Telemetry with Star Wars: Squadron on a 3DOF system would be awesome.

I really hope that EA is planning to add telemetry support to this game. In combinition of integrated VR, telemetry will BOOOOOST immersion dramatically, in case you use a 3DOF (or plus) sim rig. DO IT , PLEASE !! I will be one of the first YouTubers giving that a freaking awesome review, as I am going to build myself a Mandalorian outfit and will play STAR WARS: SQUADRON in my simrig in VR (just for fun). Looking forward and ... TELEMETRY ... THIS IS THE WAY!

Plus one for telemetry api for motion and vibrating/shaking devices !
- 6 years ago@die3birken I hope so 🙂 I'm not sure if EA people are checking out this forum. I wrote to Motive Studios also, but no answer yet.

If enough people make noise about it, they may consider it.

Please support telemetry output for vr
lots of enthusiasts really want this. Thank you!!!!

Yo, Please make it real. That would be dream to use it with VR and YAW

My request wasn’t made just for Yaw VR just to clarify, but for a generic Telemetry API that can be used by anyone.
pt-actuators, sfx-100, DIY Stewart platforms, D-box, yaw vr, etc. if theres a telemetry api, Then the various apps can integrate a plugin to use via SimTools, SimFeedback, Ian’s BFF, flyPT, etc.

YawVR, please also reach out to Motive Studios (EA is producing, but Motive is developing). I think the dev team at Motive would be more apt to take your offer, and implement the telemetry much quicker than going through EA. If not, I'll gladly take the offer...even better, I only need one YawVR 🙂

Thanks Donnyhud,
I contacted someone from Motive Studios already, he sent my offer to the partnership team, so I hope I will get some feedback soon. Fingers crossed 🙂

Great to hear, please let us know when you get feedback, there are many of us in the community that would help support this become a reality! 🙂
- 6 years ago@szigetlaki Hi Zsolt, hoping they get back to you on this. I purchased your pro rig specifically for this game in anticipation!

Someone couldn't wait 🙂

Excellent! :D
I can't say I blame them, motion simulators are a perfect fit for Star Wars! 🙂

Yes, we need telemetry to feel the force!!

+1, I own two motion sims & would love to see some telemetry output, especially since this game has anti-cheat and using a memory-hook will be impossible.
I hope the Dev team takes you up on this offer!
