Ok. So GamesCom 2020 began yesterday, and with it we were given a look at an imperial mission from the single player campaign. Video Link: It looked amazing!! Anyone got some ‘Things you missed’ that they want to share? Or perhaps their opinions on this new info. I’m all open!! This game will be great!! (Also my two favourite maps that I have seen are Esseles and the Zavian Abyss, because the former has loads of tunnels, and the latter has lightning and debris everywhere).

I have seen the video for the SP Campaign.Some thoughts:1. The Imperial Mission seems easy at first, but loads of New Republic Starfighters appear quite fast. I assume the SP Campaign gives a Surmountable challenge.2. The Imperial Mission reminds me of the DOS version of X-Wing type of Missions, sometimes they start out simple but end up being quite complicated for new players.3. The Tie Fighter took out some X-wings within a reasonably short time, I assume this is for SP only and not exactly the same for MP.Its good to see more Gameplay but I am not certain if that Imperial Mission is your first Mission?

@Reposter I certainly hope it is good and it does sound like a single-player not just there to have a single player!

I am really looking forward to the campaign, especially for the Imperial perspective

i think it will be cool to see how the tie with no shields balance out with rebel ships

Watching that video has got me even more excited. One other thing that I’m liking is the lack of focus on main characters (Leia, Luke, Han, etc.) and is instead on the secondary characters with Hera and Wedge. It makes the galaxy feel bigger

I totally agree! The depth of the other characters has always made the Star Wars universe so special. Can't wait to see Hera. 🙌
