"There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game."

I am getting a ""There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game." error when I attempt to start SW Jedi: Fallen Order. How can I fix this? I have tried a clean reboot, uninsta...

@ThatYoungDev, gotcha. And how exactly are you trying to play the game? Is that via the EA Desktop app, or Origin? Do you need an EA Play subscription to play the game?

    @EA_Leeuw It is on the EA Desktop app through the Xbox Game Pass Subscription. I tried to use origin, but the game was not available to me on that platform.

      @ThatYoungDev, yeah that's the exact reason I was asking, in this case you indeed need to use the EA Desktop app.

      May I ask what kind of troubleshooting steps you've tried yourself already, if any?

        @EA_Leeuw As I mentioned in original post, I have tried a clean reboot, uninstall and reinstall, run as administrator, and even disabling overlays like discord or Nividia GEForce
