This 10 second gif, makes not having dismemberment even more stupid.

I mean give me a break here.  Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast both had it, this makes no sense and is just stupid now.

  • I am not missing human dismemberment at all. This is probably something bigger than 'just implement it'.

Could even lead back to EA (the game rating must be low enough so children can play) but maybe even to Disney.

The developers probably didn't even have a choice if they want it or not. I think they did a good job going around the restriction and actually implemented dismemberment for robots and animals.

I think it had as much to do with ratings as anything, with maybe Disney putting limit on it as possible.  Honestly, every hit with a lightsaber should dismember, and if that were to happen it would be  a minimum Mature game in the US and possibly eliminating sales in some countries.  I seriously doubt they wanted to go this direction, and don't feel the lack of it as Star Wars uses dismemberment in only rare instances to make a point more than anything.

I have to agree with @Nafeasonto that it is not missed by me, and there are bigger issues than just adding it.
