Just curious if this game will support this stick for consoles at launch.Haven't committed to purchasing it yet, seeing some complaints about the build quality on Amazon, anyone have this stick and can vouch for its quality?Thanks!

I'm sure they will, but I was also relieved to read in one of the official interviews that they will have pretty elaborate customization options for remapping things: sticks, buttons, triggers.That makes it sound as if you could customize what every input on your HOTAS relates to in game, so even if our specific console HOTAS don't happen to get official presets to choose from, at the least we can make our own.I've got the HORI HOTAS for PS4 and I'm planning to try that out with VR myself.A concern I have is once PS5 drops, and Squadrons is playable on PS5 - will my flight stick still work with a PS5 I wonder?

Enough of the PC Master Race nonsense.As can be seen in the topic this thread does not concern PC players in the least, and given that this is game will support cross platform play, it is entirely within reason that there should be HOTAS support for this game on consoles as well.I was hoping for an official response to this thread by now, not some off-topic "just get a PC" replies.

@DarthN3fari0us I have this stick for ps4 and use it with ac7. It's nice for the price. I'm curious if squadrons will use it too.

I hope EA does the right thing ands supports flightsticks on consoles and not just on pc.Seriously that wouldn't be fair anyway it would give PC users an unfair advantage over console players in an actual crossplay game!

Its a competitive crossplay game it would be completely unfair to give flightstick support to pc players and not to console players. Flightstick ads a unfair advantage to pc players!!

Or you could always play on a platform which isn't designed for children. You'd be very welcome among PC players, it also opens up the possibility for a number of other great sims and experiences you can't have anywhere else.

Not everyone has the money or space for a desktop computer. And if i already have ps4 pro and a laptop why would I get a desktop pc just to play a game with a flight stick when they can easily just support the flightstick for consoles like they should in the first place?..

@Silverstreakusa A desktop can cost the same amount as a console. People think all PC owners have top tier hardware but it's simply not the case. Console = proprietary locked down PC. Don't have the space? Put it were your console was and use it the same way
