Tie Bomber has no shield option in loadouts, yet the Y Wing does? bug?bit unfair

Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Hangar / Briefing Room
What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. the tie bomber doesn't have shields to edit in loadout yet the Y wing does ? seems unfair, is this a bug ?

    TIE Bombers canonically don't have sheilds (neither do standard TIEs or Interceptors)

    I believe it's made up for in-game by having proportionally tougher hulls.

    ok thank you, it seemed strange to me they didnt have them, seems a tad unbalanced tho?, i figured it would be  easier to have both sides that have them. thanks for the reply

    They don't have shields but they are better in other things. Interceptors are better than A-Wings in every metric (acceleration, speed, etc.). Also, imperial ships don't "waste" energy as they can transfer between systems.

    They might be unbalanced but I don't think that would be the reason. I find Interceptors much better than A-Wings, give them a try! 😉

    Tie bombers have the ability to shift all overcharge from engines to lasers with a button press.  This makes them have extremely high sustained damage output compared to ywing. 

    They're balanced.
