TrackIR support?
If SQUADRONS wants to move away from arcade push button Gamepad flying, it NEEDS to offer Flight stick/HOTAS support and TrackIR/VR support. Not to mention the shown micro management, we all loved i...
Thanks i guess i can scratch squadrons off my list.
@fogpipe So the Squadrons team caters to not only PC-VR users, but also caters to Xbox users, PS4 users, PSVR, and PC users at different screen resolutions. Then it implements cross play functionality on top of all that. Then it Implements HOTAS on PC, and then, in a last minute effort, gets HOTAS into Consoles in a last minute patch before Launch.
They are obviously doing everything they can within the time constraints, and are listening to feedback.
But Because you're not getting Track IR, you are not getting the game at all ?
I would say that is unreasonable on your part and you should be supporting this game a bit more.
I'm sure the developers are doing everything they can to add all good things in the game and within the limitations make it the best Star Wars game ever.
But is important to say that the trailers sparked a lot of interest of many flight simulator players (War Thunder, IL2, DCS etc). And to maintain their interest it is vital that head track support is implemented. Head track is the most efficient system for perception to play with space ships and planes far above the VR that has price and comfort limitations. They can hit much more players with head track support then VR players. Is a smart market choice.
