Trapped in Subterranean Refuge

I am trapped in Subterranean Refuge; the title of the topic is not a clever ruse😉.  I haven’t picked up force push yet so can’t “push” the bridge down over the chasm and BD-1 is broken so can’t use any zip lines.  Also doesn’t appear to be anyway out going back up in the elevator. Any help would be appreciated. 

If I have to restart the whole game, despite not being that far in, this is a significant flaw I think.

    have you learned wall running yet? be on the lookout for vines you can climb up. when you go up in the elevator, there's an alcove you can run into, and there's wall-vines you can climb up. What's the deal with BD-1 being "broken?" that's not good, you should put in a ticket!
