Unable to connect since update

Since the latest update I am unable to login anymore. My Origin account is online but I can't get connected in Battlefront. After a while it tells me the EA-servers are unavailable.

I've done a traceroute and ping and both produce good results.

I've opened the ports in my firewall and my modem, no help.

This is extremely frustrating!

  • @herbertprime Hi, are you able to play other Origin games? Can you check your firewall and anti-virus rules? Since it was updated perhaps your security software is now blocking SWBF from contacting the internet.

  • I have been having difficulties with the latest Win 10 insider builds so that took some time.

    I have resolved my issue of not being able to connect by REMOVING all of the suggested port settings in my firewall, both on my modem and Norton Security. I could immediately connect again.

    I had set these as an attempt to resolve the issue with the round summary not progressing problem, but it appears it did much more harm than good.
