Playing on PC and I haven't scanned a single bounty hunter yet although I lost count of all I've beaten. Had the issue even today.

    It let me scan the one I beat in the arena I went to bogono to get to the place where you need force pull and got 2 chest on top of the workshop and went in the sinkholes there were 2 and neither scanned they both had different names when it said I beat them but couldn't scan them
