Unfair disadvantage! I cannot defeat the 9th (Ninth) Sister on Kashyyyk!

So it's been almost 3 hours, maybe 4 or closer to 5, I've honestly lost track, since I arrived atop the Origin Tree, and now that I have to face the 9th (Ninth) Sister, I cannot defeat her.  I get her life bar all the way down to zero, and I have several sim canisters left as well as plenty of life, and she still grabs me by the throat and kills me in one succinct blow.  No matter the buttons I push, or how I try to escape, I can't.  I'm stuck.  She has me pinned down, and I can't deal the fatal blow.  What am I doing wrong?  I have watched the videos and I can see what is supposed to happen, but I am unable to, or simply just can't, seem to make it happen.  I'm in Story Mode, have spammed the X and O buttons and just can't defeat her.  And I have tried the other modes, and heaven forbid!  It's worse!  I die after one or two blows!  I don't even have time to raise my lightsaber, so I change it back, and it seems to get worse.  She is simply too fast, and seems to get faster with each respawn.

Is there a bug in the game that will simply prohibit me from going any further?  Am I forever stuck?  Am I going to have to have my 10-year old nephew get me out of it?  These options aren't looking favorably to me because I actually like the game, but if I can't get past this thing...I'm just going to shelve the game all together.  It's no longer fun when you can't get past an obstacle and can't go back or find another way around.

Please help!  I really like this game, but can't go any further because of, what I'm going to call, a glitch.  I'm on a PS4, and recently bought the game (2022).

I have checked for updates, and I am told I have the most recent version of the game.  I am at a loss, and I am ready to give up. 😕  And I really don't want to give up.

    Thank you for responding.  I have watched the video, and yes, I get to this point, press the square button, and am still grabbed by the throat and thrown to the ground, killed in one sweeping succinct movement, then get her attitude.

    I have gotten to this point multiple times, repeat the motion, as well as try other things, and still cannot defeat her.  It is very frustrating!

    What am I doing wrong?  Or is it a glitch?

    Thank you for your help!  I removed the disk and after reinserting it and thus restarting the game, I was able to defeat her.  It was far easier than previous iterations of the fight, and I am wondering if the glitch was the gameplay mode, i.e. this previous fights I had engaged in weren't playing in the Story Mode but another, far harder mode.  The Sister spoke a whole lot less during this fight, and the damage I was able to inflict on her made the fight go quickly.  The whole fight lasted maybe two minutes, whereas before the fights were lasting, when I was able to get to the third and final stage of the fight, in excess of three minutes.

    I finally beat her and am able to move on!

    Hey @Prince_of_Aria,

    Alright, I thought you were only pressing the X or O button, as you mentioned before. So I thought you were maybe pressing the wrong button(s) in order to beat her.

    But I am glad to hear that a reinstall of the game solved the issue for you. Finally!
