exactly, turn off cross play to stop getting nuked by PC players and you won't find a single game.

Just another game with two leavers on my side. Guess what? Even though it was close, even though I got the 2nd highest score of everyone left in the game, poitive K/D ratio, solo taking out 2/4 subsystems, yet I end up loosing 7% (!) just because those two remaining maggots on my team won't forfeit 3v5, while losing obviously was just a matter of time (enemy wasn't good but not bad enough to win 3v5 and i will never ever go so low that I'll use the kamikaze TIE Bomber tactics. Never. Period.).
This kind of MMR is only viable in a setting that a) solely depends on your solo performance or b) is highly competitive with pre-made teams only, yet this is a game with a highly casual hot-join style mechanic. It's just beyond me how one could make such a terrible decision. May be the MMR algorithm was some open source copy/paste thing and thus a way to lower dev costs, else I just can't get why one would have decided going this idiotic route...

I agree, I think they need to make some changes to the MMR. I keep barely losing and am the top player on the losing side so my rank goes down. I think they should give some positive points to the top players regardless if you win or loss and then eventually the better players will rise up while those being carried by teamates will go down. Kinda like how even if you get 8th place in mario kart you still get a positive score. Maybe a bad reference.
Just because your team loses doesn't mean your rank should go down.
