EA StaffSorry to hear voice chat isn’t working properly when playing with friends. Are your teammates seeing the same issue on their Xbox One, or does this seem limited to only your consoles?

I can't hear anyone even without headphones, and my team mates can't hear me. On my sons xbox playing squadrons, on a separate account, he can hear other players but I can't.
I don't know if I'm right, but it seems that this issue might be primarily affecting xbox players. I know a netherlands xbox player who also can't hear anyone on voice chat, and several posts on reddit have mentioned a similar problem.
I'm on PC, my friends on PS4 - we could not get voice chat to work (it was then just died). Rebooted several times, no success, so we ended up stopping for the night instead of playing without voice
Please relay this answer to anyone that needs it. Xbox players may default to a custom setting in their privacy options which does not permit them to hear voice chat. This option may revert back to itself multiple times in a single game. If the settings are changed to adult, the issue is usually fixed after a reboot of the game or sometimes even upon a return to the original game.
